THE CHALLENGE

A coastal site exposed to prevailing winds and intense summer sun required integrated bioclimatic strategy to optimize natural light and cross-ventilation while maintaining thermal comfort. The client required detailed construction documentation for precise builder coordination.

OUR APPROACH

We developed a bioclimatic mastery study analyzing summer/winter sun path, prevailing wind directions, and site microclimate. The building envelope was optimized with integrated clerestory windows and operable roof voids for stack-effect ventilation. Detailed framing and slab design accommodated the sloped site with precision.
